2018- A011: Oppose Environmental Racism

States the church’s belief that that no community, especially poor communities or members of marginalized ethnic groups, “should bear a disproportionate risk of environmental pollution or degradation.” The resolution creates a task force of 12 people with requested funding of $30,000 “to study and report specific recommendations for appropriate changes in federal, state, or local law.”
